Does anyone cross there cycling with running during the winter months, to make up for the lack of light? They say running ain't good for cyclists, but I think this isn't really an issue unless one was say a pro or top amature. I try to do both and only have found benefits. What does others think?

Going through the Foyle Cycling site and I was just thinking that for new comers, or those who may be thinking of going out with the club. The 'being left behind' mentaility of new to cycling cyclists is all to known to us all. Foyle cycling promotes itself as a cycling club not a racing club and so shouldn't the no-man left behind be advertised somewhat to newbies? Just a thought? <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_scratch.png" alt="scratch" />
