Very emotive subject I know but what is your preference and why.

I prefer Campag mainly because I have always used it and never tried Shimano.
I also prefer that the brake and gear cables are hidden.

Anyone any thoughts???

I really think a lot of this debate starts when you firsdt purchase a bike the people who purchase Shimano stick with it and vice versa. For what it is worth I like Shimano mainly because of the ergonomic shape of the STI levers.

I have ridden both....although I started on Campy and held out for a while trying to be traditional etc......but when i rode Shimano I found the levers alot more comfortable but the gearing less trusting. I like the cluck of Campy. But the comfort of Shimano levers. That's my 2 cents worth.
